RATTLE CRAB

This weird looking creature is a snake like sea monster, called ‘Quousque Oculus Brachyura Vibrabit’, also known as Rattle Crab. Despite being more of a reptile than a crustacean, it gets it name due to the shape of its body and its behavior in the sea bottom. I has elongated eyes that can move independently and when shout can be used as weapons to attack its prey. It has a rattle snake like tail, which produces an hypnotic sound underwater which makes its victims approach instead of run away.

It is about 5 inches high, decoupaged with pieces of magazine paper and varnished.
