This is one of the few medieval buildings that survived the Baedecker Blitz during WWII in Canterbury and it’s supposed to have been built circa the year AD 1500, however, it is known that it was rebuilt in the middle of the 16th century. Paper Mosaic-collage on card. This is the northernmost of seven bays in Broadstairs and it features chalk columns carved by the sea on the walls of the cliffs. It is a popular tourist location and has served as location for several films and TV series such as BBC’s D- Day: The Last Heroes, Tamil action drama Thaandavam and Sky’s comedy Hunderby amongst others as well as music videos, tv commercials and photoshoots for many fashion editorials.
