THE OLD WEAVERS HOUSE

Price range: £20.00 through £400.00

Paper Mosaic-collage on card.

This is one of the few medieval buildings that survived the Baedecker Blitz during WWII in Canterbury and it’s supposed to have been built circa the year AD 1500, however, it is known that it was rebuilt in the middle of the 16th century. It is, after the cathedral, the most photographed landmark of the city and it is located by the Great Stour River, on the high street.

This collage was made using recycled paper from magazines on a paper sheet.
