LULU
This piece was inspired in another of my favourite shoots of my late Queen, her royal highness, ‘Queen Lulu’.
On a moment when I felt alone and vulnerable, her absence from my life, the love she gave me, her warmth, her cheeky naughtiness, felt real for the first time since I lost her. She was by my side when I was at my lowest, and now that I was feeling down again, I really wished I still had her with me.
I still can see her around my new home, a place she never lived in, when a dark shirt or a new shadow catches my eye in a corner. I wish she was still here.
This collage was made using recycled paper from magazines on a wooden panel, coated with #ArtResin.
