FORBIDEN FEELINGS
Growing up queer, my attraction to the male body was always a source of shame. I felt I wasn’t allowed to look, express desire, or pursue intimacy, censoring myself out of fear — fear of rejection, mockery, or even violence.
Even as an adult, that fear lingers. Speaking openly about my sexuality can still feel uncomfortable, and that discomfort often turns into self-repression, a continuation of childhood shame.
Through these pieces, I work to let go of that shame — to move past the idea that desire is wrong, sex is dirty, or the naked body should be hidden. This work is personal catharsis and a form of protest, reclaiming the freedom I once denied myself.
These collections are inspired by my kinks, fetishes, and desire for intimacy, often expressed through gestures like kissing — tender, defiant, and unapologetic.
