MARGATE PRIDE ART MAP 2025

with No Comments

Margate Pride is here again! And as part of the Pride Art Map, I’m very happy to be taking part in the Margate Black Pride annual exhibition “A Chorus of Futures,” showing on the first floor of Cliffs Café.

I’m incredibly grateful to have been selected and to exhibit my work alongside such talented artists. The show celebrates creativity, resilience, and the richness of our lived experiences — exploring themes of joy, grief, resistance, pleasure, identity, and memory, as well as artworks that simply exist on their own terms.

The Margate Pride Festival and Pride Art Map launch on Friday 1st August and Margate Black Pride will be hosting a Private View at Cliffs Café from 6–9pm. I would love to see some familiar faces there as this is a great chance to celebrate not only the beginning of Pride Month, but also the incredible talent of artists showing their artwork across Margate.

(Quick shout-out to my friend David Tobar, who will also be showing his work at the festival and is hosting a Private View at 101 Social, just across the road from Cliffs.)

And if you’re still in the mood to celebrate afterwards, the Festival Launch After Party at Camp starts from 9pm.

Happy Pride! 🏳️‍🌈
