It was designed by Mr Henry Arthur Cheers and it was built between the years 1887 and 1889 to celebrate the golden jubilee of Queen Victoria. Paper Mosaic-collage on card. This is the northernmost of seven bays in Broadstairs and it features chalk columns carved by the sea on the walls of the cliffs. It is a popular tourist location and has served as location for several films and TV series such as BBC’s D- Day: The Last Heroes, Tamil action drama Thaandavam and Sky’s comedy Hunderby amongst others as well as music videos, tv commercials and photoshoots for many fashion editorials.
